Once again Steve Philips was seen getting a hand on the trophy having snatched defeat from the jaws of victory early in the morning round with nil points on the 5th hole of the day. Richard Jackson & David Naylor were pleased to be announced as winners having both carded a double bogey 6 on the 36th hole for only 1 point while playing partners Neil Jopling & new boy Damien Hammond banked 5 points, the best of the day by any pair on the 18th.
